The War of The Worlds

was first published as a serial in Pearson's Magazine, April to December, 1897. It first appeared in volume form (Heinemann) in 1898. It was included in Volume 3 of the Atlantic Edition of the Works of H. G. Wells in 1924. First published as a Penguin Book     1946.
